Strong verbal and written communication/analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Working knowledge of Commercial Law as
applied to Commerce and Banking, and relevant regulation/laws issued by SBP
(State Bank of Pakistan) from time to time. |

Outline of Main Duties/Responsibilities |
* Assist in the evaluation of proposals, contracts,
agreements, manuals, process flows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and
product structures. * Review Credit Approval Memorandums (CAMs) for final
endorsement by the Head of Shariah Compliance Department (SCD). * Assist the
Unit Head in reviewing and analyzing process flows for various products and
services. Facilitate UGDs (User Group Discussions). *
Review/synchronize financing documents to ensure Shariah compliance and
operational accuracy. * Conduct business sessions with the business team to
assure practical aspects and update the process flow according to actual needs/practices.
* Interact with various stakeholders and external parties regarding product
structuring and system-related discussions. * Remain flexible in executing diverse tasks and specialized projects as directed by the management team." |

management. * Assist Head of Shariah Compliance Department in enforcing
Shariah Board resolutions and advising the executive management. * Compile
all Shariah-related matters for advising Board of Directors and executive
management. * To assist SSB (Secretary Shariah Board) in maintaining
comprehensive MIS regarding Shariah Board Meetings. * All documentation
related to the Shariah Board to be processed. * To assist SSB to send SSB’s
prior meeting notice to management and ensure completeness for all necessary
information, details, and documents provided by the Executive Management
concerning decisions/fatwas from Shariah Board on any proposal before
implementation or dissemination. * |
